Apple Music - Play Preview & Song Don't Play

If you utilize Apple Music and find some of your songs are not playing, it may not be a compatible song that is available for use.

When loading team songs through the Apple Music integration, you should always test that the song works by clicking the blue "Play Preview" button before adding a song to a team.

Occasionally a song will not play/work, and you will only hear silence. This means the song is not available for use, and you should find another song.

If some of your Apple Music songs are not playing during a draft:

1. Try removing them from a team.

2. Re-search the song and then testing first in the Play Preview area.

WHY DON'T SOME SONGS WORK?

Integration of Apple Music is possible through the use of Apple Music Kit. There are various reasons a song won't work with Apple Music Kit. For example, Licensing and Permissions: The availability of songs through the Apple Music API can be affected by licensing agreements with music labels and copyright holders. If the necessary permissions aren't in place for certain songs, they might not be playable.

BUT I'VE TRIED ON OTHER DEVICES AND IT WORKS!

If a song doesn't work in your FanDraft league, but you notice it working on another device, the reason is that you are not logged in to your Apple account on that device. What you are hearing in those circumstances is a sample, however, the full song is not available for streaming.
