Slow Draft

If your league performs a "Slow Draft", whereby picks take course over a series of days or longer, FanDraft now supports this. There are several customizable areas for the slow draft, all within the Settings area.

Owners will be sent an email when it is their turn to make a selection. These emails will arrive approximately 2 minutes into each selection.

To set up a Slow Draft:

1. In Settings select "Slow Draft", under the Draft Options area.

2. Customize the "Clock" to your league slow draft settings.

• Time per pick: Decides how long per pick a team has
• Time zone: Designate the official time zone for the draft clock to work from.
• Overnight pause: Paused hours don't count against a team's time.
• When clock hits zero:
  • Nothing happens: No advance happens when clock hits zero, until the owner makes a selection.
  • Skip pick: Owner will lose pick, and it advances to the next team selecting.
  • Auto-draft: When the clock hits zero, FanDraft will automatically select the best available player for the team selecting. If the team has a remote owner, and that owner has added players to their Queue, it will utilize those eligible players first (and resort to best available as a secondary process)

Player Queue / Auto-draft

Remove owners can access a player queue in the bottom right hand corner of the draft room. From here, they can add and remove players to their queue. If "When clock hits zero" is set to Auto-draft:

• FanDraft will automatically select the best available player for the team selecting. If the team has a remote owner, and that owner has added players to their Queue, it will utilize those eligible players first (and resort to best available as a secondary process)
